Harvey. Who was he? A big white rabbitt, off course, but today is also …the splendid cello owned by Donatella Ferraris, built in Genoa by the luthe-maker Pio Montanari in 1998 after an original cello by Pietro Guarnieri datet 1732. Harvey Ensemble is a consort whose number of members is variable, but the presence of the cello (and of the cellist!) is mandatory.
Harvey Ensemble did various concerts in Italy and France.

Harvey Ensemble, with its various formations, with period instruments (original ancient instruments or precise copies of themsleves) or with modern instruments, studies and proposes the most varied musical repertoires from early to contemporary music. Harvey Ensemble uses to propose concerts in which a lot of explications about the musics performed are given to the public like in a not formal lecture.
